We updated our fixer with the new plastic piping called PEX, which is already widely used in Europe. Baswell plumbing is up on all the latest plumbing technologies.

I have been using Baswell for various jobs for over 20 years. This includes my personal residence as well as homes of my clients (I am a Realtor). They have always done an excellent job for a reasonable price. In fact, at one house a sewer connection was oakum and Lead and it failed. WE could have cut out the pipe and replaced it. Baswell had the skill to do this type of connection and saved us a lot of money.

We found Baswell through the "Bay Area Consumers Checkbook," where Baswell was listed as the NUMBER 1 best plumbing company in our county. Jason's first visit was so informative, including that he let us know that most of the parts we needed (valves/disc for sink faucets, kitchen soap dispenser etc) were still under warranty from the manufacturers. (This after the first bid I got from another plumbing company told us that all new parts would need to be ordered, sending the quote for some fairly small jobs at over $1600!!!). After receiving the parts under warranty, Jason returned and did a great job taking care of everything. He is a real nice, knowledgeable man, informs the consumer of every detail before he gets to work, answers all questions, and works very efficiently. Everything works great now, and we were so pleased that our bill (all labor b/c we had the parts) was only a little over several hundred dollars, including the first visit. There are so many plumbing companies out there charging excessive prices for both parts and labor. We were very happy to find Baswell (and Jason!) will continue to call Baswell for any future issues. I have been working with Baswell Plumbing for years. They are always polite, patient and knowledgeable about any problem. They work fast and they get the job done right the first time. I can't say enough great things about them!

Called to get pricing and make an appointment to have my water heater replaced. I was on the schedule the next day. No hot water in the middle of winter! Yikes, that was music to my ears. Their prices are competitive and they are not the only service industry that adds the cost of travel to the job site. Jeff came out and did a fantastic job. Passed inspection today.

Will be calling Baswell Plumbing for all of the household plumbing needs. You should too.

Intelligent, friendly and fair. The guy that answered the phone was great (the owner) as was the tech who arrived. Fast efficient work at hourly rates.....Highly recommended.

Jason has come out twice to snake out a clog in our sewer line. He is courteous, efficent and knowledgable. Both times that I called the dispatch was able to get someone out within a day or two and the tech showed up on time. Their prices seem reasonable as well at $128 for the snaking service.

Best Plummer hands down.  Baswell staff are prompt, HONEST and skilled. Did I mention HONEST?  Jason replaced 2 toilets in under an hour and quickly diagnosed AND fixed another issue in a subsequent visit. By comparison another Plummer that will remain nameless (it's a president's name) spent the entire time trying to sell me on their annual service.  He was unable to resolve the problem that I called about and told me to "watch it". I highly recommend Baswell plumbing and will use no one else.

Wonderful service, fast, friendly and reasonable.  Plus they're local.  Once before when I had a plumbing/sewer problem I called one of those rooter services I found in the yellow pages.  They had a Marin number and said they could be here in under an hour.  Two-and-one-half hours later they sent a young kid (from Concord) who spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong.  By comparison, Baswell has very knowledgable staff who explain the problem.  Now I have them come out for maintenance on my sewer lines each year and my neighbors use them too.

Jason was the plumber who came out for our job.  He was competent, efficient, punctual, and friendly.  The specific job was a sewer line clean-out.  He did the job successfully, and was helpful in helping me think about some long-term issues I'll need to deal with regarding the plumbing at our home.

I have used Baswell plumbing for a few years now. I highly recommend them. Jason is the greatest. He installed a new water heater and has helped me with other plumbing issues.  I feel that I can trust him to do a great job and not overcharge me.  I highly recommend Baswell Plumbing in Novato.  I would ask for Jason again as well.

Baswell Plumbing is the most reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly service in Marin or Sonoma counties.  All of their staff are excellent especially Jeff Baswell and Jason. They are clean and respectful and most notably, honest and straight-forward. I only use Baswell Plumbing and highly recommend them to others.

I reccommend  this Plummer.  Would not call anyone else.  They know what they are doing and will not cut holes in your walls unless necessary.
